Thursday 4th June

Today we did some fanastic writing and reading. Our writing was about the musical instruments that we seen at the orchestra. Then we watched a performance of Peter and the wolf - a musical with ballet to introduce the children to the sounds of musical instruments some of the characters were Peter was the string instruments, hunters were woodwind and trumpet, cat is the clarinet, foxis the French horn and so on. Lizzie brought in her sewing machine so the children could experience  sewing fabric, and finished making the banner for the b factor.
