Junior Orsome 22 nd July
Today we did reading after oral language a lot of great understanding, we then constructed a visual foam representation of Orana Park and talked about what animals the children have seen there.
Later the children used adhesive foam shapes and created their own artwork and described what they had created.

Wednesday 1st July
Today we started on constructing a landscape of our region, our river, our mountain and Canterbury plains
We did some music and reading plus a talking stick when the children spoke about their interest.
Monday 28t June
Today is the last day of drumming for the term, the senior boys made a chocolate cake to share after drumming. We are so lucky to have Dave teach our children a new skill

Today we stacked some of the packing boxes to see how high we could get them, we counted tthem in Maori , in twos , and backwards in Maori.. We went for a walk to Cupress Gardens and Jahleel gently picked up the butterfly and put into a tree

Thursday 25th June
We did some dancing to begin the day to our good morning song. Reading followed, Riley went with Lynley for this. Jesses enjoyed colour mixing, Dylan and Riley joined in by doing a painting using the colours we had created. The children decided to paint wild animals. In the afternoon we did a puppet show of little red riding hood.

Wednesday 24th June
Today we did a lot of preparation for the b factor which was on after the morning tea. The b factor was on for the duration of the Middle block of the day. In the afternoon we made a city with the outlaying area like farms railways and what is in a city. We briefly talked about our river and our mountain
